Wednesday’s bloomers

Blackie and Scarlet O’Hara

It was a beautiful day in the 70’s.  The star magnolia’s just busted out over night.  After I got home this afternoon, I wandered out in the garden for a picture session.  I had a lot of help until my neighbor drove by and the dogs took off to greet her at the other end of the property.  Jessica will stop and give them biscuits before finishing the drive to her house.  Do you get the idea the dogs are spoiled?

In some of these photo’s you will see the different color phases of some of the daffs.  An older one and one just opening will look like two different varieties.  In a week or so I’ll show another picture of the Mount Hood in its all while stage.  The picture of Fortissimo doesn’t indicate how huge it is.

Oh, just beautiful, Mary. I didn’t realize that spring had sprung already! Thank you for reminding us.
